A dedication ceremony was held Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Camp Kum-Ba-Yah for a zip-line tower that provides better access to the camp’s zip-line. The tower is named Ben’s Tower, after Benjamin Kunkel, a former camper and counselor at the camp who was killed while jogging in Norfolk in 2013 at 25. The funds to construct the tower were donated by the friends and family of Kunkel as well as the Easely Foundation, according Camp Kum-Ba-Yah Executive Director Pat Haley.  The event was followed by a reception at The Lodge of the Fishermen.
