CAMPER SCHOLARSHIPS
Camp Kum-Ba-Yah Nature Center is committed to providing a unique environmental day-camp experience for the children of the greater Lynchburg area, regardless of means. Scholarships are offered on a first come, first served basis to qualified applicants to help with a portion of their tuition costs.
The Scholarship Application is available through our registration portal. Families wishing to apply for scholarship should complete an application for each camper. Scholarships are limited to one week of camp per child per summer. The Scholarship Form is located under “Forms” on the Campwise Dashboard once you enter all the camper information.
We are proud of our partnerships with the Jubilee Family Development Center, Boys and Girls Club of Greater Lynchburg, Lynchburg Housing Authority, Lynchburg Covenant Fellowship, Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Central VA, Miriam’s House, and William Bass Elementary School and our ability to offer the experience of camp to children associated with these organizations.
