Families in Lynchburg Adventuring (FILA) Jan 1st, 11 am

FILA will join the planned New Year's Day hike at Natural Bridge State Park. The program is called Legends of Natural Bridge. We will join a ranger led walk underneath the Natural Bridge itself. The colossal arch has captured the imaginations of generations of visitors and inspired countless works of art, and its popularity has perpetuated many legends of varying veracity. On this walk, learn about the formation of the bridge, hear some of those stories, and learn from a ranger the truth behind some of these legends. Sturdy footwear is advised. Meets at the Cedar Creek Cafe on Cedar Creek Trail at 11 am. Jan 1st is a NO FEE day at the state park.
